Camden Show Girl
The Showgirl Contest had its beginning in 1962, when Miss Helen Crace was our first Showgirl. She has been followed over the years by a group of young ladies who have brought honour to the Society and Credit to themselves. Since the beginning some 250 girls have faced the Judge, to use a Show term. A number have gone on to win the Zone Final and indeed some have placed in the judging at the R.A.S. Our best results were Fiona Wilson and Margie Roser achieving first runner up at Sydney Royal Easter Show in 1980 and 2002 respectively. The Camden Showgirl is judged each year on the day of the Camden Show Ball.
Adriana Mihajlovic
Adriana and David Head Show President
Adriana is 22 years old and lives in Cobbitty. She is currently studying for a Masters of Secondary Education and has been recently offered a position in the University of Western Sydney’s Honours program. She also has an ambition to complete her PhD by the time she is 30 years of age.
To unwind, Adriana enjoys creative hobbies such as painting, composing music and singing. Spending time outdoors with her three border collies and two cats is also a source of much pleasure. She is a member of Camden District Tennis club and participates in beach soccer at Camden Sports Club.
Adriana has a passion for social justice and is currently designing a program for students who are challenged by the school context, needing inspiration and guidance. By volunteering her time to tutor students in the Macarthur Area, Adriana is rewarded by her students growing confidence in their abilities.

Lauren Elkins

Lauren is 21 years old and lives in Elderslie. She attended Elderslie High School and achieved her HSC and then completed a Certificate II in Horse Industry Operations. She is currently studying for Cert III - Horse Industry Practice and Cert IV - Property (Real Estate). Lauren works for Penrith Valley Real Estate as a Trainee Stock and Station Agent. She enjoys horse riding, camping, local history and socializing with friends. She is currently involved in organising a youth expo aimed at young drivers in the Western Sydney Region. Lauren has been a member of the Camden Show Society for 15 years and would like to give back something to the society after so many years enjoyment.

Fiona Boardman, successful Camden and Zone Finalist in The Land Sydney Royal Showgirl Competition has shown herself to be an able and delightful ambassador for the Show Society.
