THE CAMDEN SHOW SOCIETY SUPPORTS LOCAL COMMUNITY ORGANISATIONS TO THE VALUE OF $50,000.00 IN 2010
We are pleased to report that the Cubby House Raffle raised just on $3,500 through ticket sales by the Camden Hospital Auxiliary and we then supplemented this by a matching donation to provide a cheque recently to the Camden Hospital Palliative Care Ward of $7,000. Additionally the Show society provided significant contributions to Camden Rotary, Rural Fire Service, SES and the Meningococcal Foundation, much of it for services provided but also as donations to the community. In total Camden Show donated $8,856 to charities, paid over $17,500 for community services such as Rotary, RFS and SES, and provided approx $25,000 worth of contributions in-kind such as free space for displays or fundraising.
