• POETS SMOKO – SATURDAY FROM 10.30am – An event where patrons of the show are invited to perform “walkup” poems. Situated in the ‘History and Education Area’ beside the Drovers Camp. Dennis “Dingo” Dryden will be the MC and coordinate the event. Original poems must keep introductions to a minimum. Recitals a maximum of 10 verses.

 

• DROVERS CAMP – Complete with a cup of billy tea and damper, pull up a seat and relax after wandering around the Heritage lane and surrounds.

 

• DUCKS – BRIAN HARRINGTON THE FAMILY SHOW

Ever seen ducks perform in a fashion parade? Well these ducks aren’t your normal run of the mill ducks. Their designer clothes leave you wondering about your wardrobe – trust me! You might also see them around the showground.

 

• DOG AGILITY – SATURDAY FROM 8am. Team against team with all and every breed competing to see who is the winner. This is action packed fun and a definite must see especially if you have not seen it before.

 

• ALPACAS, ANGORA AND DAIRY GOATS – Paraded from approx 9.30am on Saturday.

 

• SHEEP SHEARING & SHEEPDOG DEMONSTRATIONS – Check the programme for times for the shearing and dogs.

 

• COMBINED EMERGENCY SERVICES DISPLAY – Take some time and visit the combined emergency services who are there for us when the need arises and have a chat – they will be doing displays.

 

• ANIMAL NURSERY, SNAKE & REPTILE DISPLAY – Lots to learn. A visit these attractions is a must for kids of all ages.

 

• AUSTRALIAN YEAR OF THE FARMER ROADSHOW – Help your kids learn where their food comes from and paint their own “Mini Archibull” money-box to take home. Explore the career diversity that agribusiness offers the next generation. Be wowed by the reality of today’s farming technology and proud of the contribution that Australians are making across the country and the local region.
